"Three Queens"  Pastel

"Three Queens" is a reworked painting.  The original was quite heavy handed and although I wasn't comfortable with it, I wasn't initially sure what I wanted to do to correct the image.   A sense of lightness and whimsy was my goal.  So, I decided to brush off the pastel with a stiff brush.  Then, using a brush dipped in water,  I softened the remaining image.  Finally, I went in and reworked the painting, using the original composition but with a more delicate touch.
