October, Apples, and a finished painting...finally!

The painting above is the result of an almost magical evening I spent painting with friends at Geig Orchards in Seville, Ohio.  This painting was posted previously on September 5, as a "work in progress."   

And, by the way, you can visit Geig Orchards and experience the magic for yourself.  A really good time to do so would be during the Medina County Fall Foliage Tour the weekend of October 9-10, 2010.  In addition to the apples, apple butter, and other edible goodies, there will be some inedible goodies.  Local artists will be exhibiting their paintings, created in Geig Orchards and other areas of Medina County, throughout the entire month of October.
