Values....

One of my ongoing struggles in painting, is to get the values right.  Without that, it is not a good painting, no matter how precise the drawing might be or how strong the composition.  Values are what make a painting "POP."  I still have a bit of work to do on this piece, but I think I'm headed in the right direction.  I'll post an update when it is finished.
